What fun it is when we are of an age
that everything is so exciting, new!
Why, we can hardly wait to turn a page,
or play a game, or television view.
Then music, sports, and studies form the text
that raises pulse and competition drives.
The most exciting thing of all comes next;
the other sex may captivate our lives.
This leads to marriage with that special one,
the sharing of two souls, in sorrow, joy,
then new vocations, always on the run,
the greatest thrill, a new-born girl or boy!
The fun of any age depends on fire
emitting from within, known as DESIRE.
