AND A HUMAN

by Keiichiro Fujitani

Constellations rotate in universe
Shedding the memory for millions and billions years
――And a human

A human slowly rolls out his own memory
Wondering at mystery and beauty of the universe
Deep pieced through by loneliness

Into the deep abyss of the universe
So many times he is tossed
Still he ropes hope to
The banks of his lonely rivers
When life breaking a void
Comes up to sprout
